Kale Smoothies

Kale and Avocado Smoothie



Ingredients:

2 handful kale

½ Avocado

½ Lime

Large handful pineapple

1 Banana

Large handful of frozen pineapple

Medium-sized chunk ginger


Method:
  1. Put all the ingredients into a smoothie maker, add a large splash of water and blitz. Add more water until you have the desired consistency.
  2. You can add a spoon of protein shake too.

Kale, Mustard and Spinach Smoothie With Pineapple



Ingredients:

½ Avocado peeled, stoned and chopped

A handful of kale, spinach, and mustard green, washed and chopped

10cm cucumber chopped

Handful pineapple chunks

1 Banana

300ml coconut water


Method:
  1. Put the avocado, spinach, kale, pineapple, and cucumber in the blender.
  2. Top up with coconut water, then blitz until smooth.

Kale, Pineapple and Banana Smoothie



Ingredients:

2 cups lightly packed chopped kale leaves - stems removed

3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk - or any milk you like

1 frozen medium banana - cut into chunks

1/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt

1/4 cup frozen pineapple pieces

2 tablespoons peanut butter - creamy or crunchy (I use natural creamy)

1 to 3 teaspoons honey - to taste


Method:
  1. Place all ingredients (kale, almond milk, banana, yogurt, pineapple, peanut butter, and honey) in a blender in the order listed.
  2. Blend until smooth. Add more milk as needed to reach desired consistency. Enjoy immediately.
